Don’t miss our famous Sunday roasts, served with roast potatoes, winter vegetables, and plenty of gravy – the perfect way to enjoy a Sunday lunch with friends or family in Balham.

Right then folks, our set menu is making its winter comeback this January, and I reckon it’s the perfect excuse to get yourself out of the house and down to the pub. We’re serving up 2 proper tasty courses for £19, or—go on—3 for £23 if you’re feeling extra hungry.

We’ll be dishing it up from 5th January through to 27th February, so swing by, get cosy, and let us look after you this winter.

 

Christmas feasting in Balham

Celebrate the season with our festive menu, packed with proper winter classics. Start with warming starters like spiced butternut squash soup or smoked salmon, then tuck into mains such as crown of English turkey, rump of beef, nut roast, or a hearty beef, star anise & parsnip pie – all served with roast potatoes, winter roots, Brussels sprouts, and plenty of gravy.

Finish with Christmas pudding, spiced fig syllabub, chocolate brownie, or a Stilton board, and wash it all down with mulled wine, winter cocktails, or a proper pint of ale for a festive feast that hits the mark.
