We held our family pre-Christmas lunch here. As there was 12 in our group we pre-ordered our meals. Everything worked our perfectly for us. Great food and service in a nice pub atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit.

The food was delicious from Sunday roasts to burgers. The portions were very substantial and all of our party of 7 enjoyed their food. The service as ever in the Nightingale, was great as was the atmosphere. The purpose of our meal was an early family Christmas dinner. We took crackers and games and were not rushed from our table despite being a 2 hour booking slot. A lovely time was had by all.

Came here for Boxing Day. Ian and the team didn’t disappoint - fabulous food, atmosphere and service as always. My Grandmother said the fish pie was the best she ever had. A true diamond in the rough of a British pub. Fabulous!
